Social Media Challenge
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” Romans 10:14-15
Viewpoint: Social media is expanding daily; around the world, more people are using it for many different reasons; the use of social media in North Africa and the Middle East is growing too. Arabs are not satisfied with their religion, the political situations in their countries, or the social issues; to question their societies’ values or belief systems openly can be dangerous, so people are increasingly searching for answers via social media. We need your help to reach not only Saudis for the gospel but millions of other people in Northern Africa and the Middle East; people often feel comfortable asking all kinds of questions on social media. Followers of Christ are trying to reach the lost but don’t have the financial resources to do so; would you be willing to help support strategies to reach the lost through social media?
