Starting With the End in Mind

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” –2 Timothy 2:2

Viewpoint: Across Saudi Arabia, expatriate (expat) believers are becoming bolder in sharing the good news of Christ. Like the early church in Acts, they are sowing the Word broadly, praying that Christ might be lifted high and his kingdom expanded among Saudis. These believers are asking and trusting the Lord to begin a church-planting movement–a network of rapidly reproducing faith families. Expat believers share their faith in a way that is understandable and reproducible; so that Saudi believers will both understand the weight of obedience to share the gospel and know how to do it.

Prayer Point: Ask that believers in Saudi Arabia remain faithful to share the gospel with the Saudi church in mind. Pray that Saudis who hear the gospel from those faithfully proclaiming it will come to faith in Christ. Ask that the Saudi church expands rapidly and healthily, by the work of the Spirit, with a culture of reproducible discipleship and evangelism.
